I like to lift..maybe a little too much. I also play soccer and one week after my soccer game my lower back was feeling extra sore. I thought it was a soreness from lifting during the week, but the pain was sharp and persisted for 2+ weeks. The discomfort brought me to the point of reaching out to Dr Jason as I wanted to make sure it wasn't a herniated disc or anything serious. When I saw Dr Jason, he educated me on the importance of hip mobility and pelvic control which came as a surprise to me because I thought there'd be more focus on the direct area of pain. But he showed how to strengthen the surrounding areas and gave me tips on squat technique (avoid dipping into the butt wink range!). He taught me stretches to relieve my current pains but also taught me the overall function of the body to help me avoid future injuries. He even broke out the markers to show me a visual that will stick with me. Dr Jason is a professional, treats his clients like family, and more importantly follows up! Grateful for his help!
